A charming local hero crosses paths with a stunning lady, captivates her heart, ties the knot, and settles her in Malin, Oregon. Did we mention that the lady was crowned Miss America 2002? This brief summary encapsulates the love journey of Tim Ebner and Katie Harman Ebner, underpinned by their mutual affection, kinship, community spirit, and patriotic fervor.

Tim Ebner's roots trace back to Klamath Union High School, where he grew up amid Kingsley Field's planes and pilots. His father was among Kingsley’s earliest recruits and faithfully served the base in various Chief positions for 45 years.

An ardent advocate of homegrown education, Tim chose to attend Eastern Oregon University and Southern Oregon University while balancing his roles as an Air National Guard medic and pilot trainee. His commitment led him to become an F-15 fighter pilot. Following a deployment to Poland, he returned home to train on alert missions.
