Oregon Tech student projects showcased June 6

WHEN: Friday, June 6, 2025, at 9 a.m. Community members and media are invited to attend.

WHERE: Center for Excellence in Engineering and Technology (CEET) and Cornett Hall, Oregon Tech, 3201 Campus Drive, Klamath Falls, OR 97601

WHAT: Oregon Tech welcomes the public to the IDEAfest project symposium on Friday, June 6, from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. This is an annual event where students present their junior, senior, or capstone project posters and demonstrations. Staff and faculty projects will also be presented on June 6 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.

Students at Oregon Tech are known for creating interesting, innovative projects. This year, many students chose to work with businesses in the community to solve real-world problems. These projects involve applications in electrical infrastructure, wearable technology, electronic music, robotics, automated cooking, interactive software, smart home systems, custom fabrication, vehicle safety, and productivity tools.

The community is encouraged to attend to see what Oregon Tech’s inventive and innovative students are creating.

HOW: IDEAfest entry and parking during the event are free. A full list of projects and viewing locations will be available at the event.
