6th Annual Trunk or Treat

Klamath County Developmental Disabilities Services, the Klamath County Event Center and Klamath Falls Honda/Subaru present the 6th Annual Trunk or Treat: a safe, fun and free way for the whole community to trick or treat with more than 30 local community partners. Last year nearly 3,500 people came through. Quiet Hour, 3 to 4 p.m.: reserved time for individuals and families who experience disabilities, sensory differences, or who need more time. Reservations are required and limited, and event noise is reduced to support access for all. To reserve, email Heidi Gaither at heidi.gaither@klamathcountyor.gov. Doors open to the public 4 to 7 p.m., all ages welcome. Help "Pack the Pickup to Scare Away Hunger": bring non-perishable food or a monetary donation for the Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank, which will sponsor holiday food boxes for individuals and families served by KCDDS. Contributions are appreciated, not required. Most needed: boxed stuffing, chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, dry gravy packets, canned cranberries, canned vegetables, canned yams, French fried onions, brown sugar and marshmallows.

Seven farm stops across the Klamath Basin — self-guided
Klamath Grown's self-guided Second Annual Small Farm Tour runs 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with all seven stops open the full four hours and guided tours starting every hour and half hour. Stops: Fresh Green Organics (herbs & vegetables), Rafter JL Livestock (lamb & wool), Sweet Union Farm (vegetables), Birdhouse Flowers (flowers & vegetables), High Tails Ranch (yak & beef), Volcanic Winery (wine grapes & potatoes), and the Klamath Community Garden. Admission is free; advance registration is encouraged — registration and the map of stops are linked in our article.
