Klamath Grown Invites Community to Celebrate the Harvest and Support Local Food This Saturday

Final Farmers Market, Scarecrow Row, and Farm-to-Table Harvest Party Bring a Full Day of Fall Festivities to Klamath Falls

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — October 21, 2026 — Downtown Klamath Falls will be bustling with fall festivities this Saturday, October 24, with Scarecrow Row, the final Klamath Falls Farmers Market of the season, and Klamath Grown's Farm-to-Table Harvest Party from 1–4 p.m. at The Tasting Room, 404 Main Street. The Harvest Party is part of Klamath Grown's Fall Harvest Fundraiser, a community campaign to raise $20,000 and grow its network of monthly supporters by October 26. So far, the campaign has raised $4,739.88 through 28 donations, including 12 monthly supporters contributing $335 per month. "We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, volunteered, sponsored, and supported our work," said Klamath Grown team member Alessandra Cerroni. "Every contribution helps us continue building a stronger local food system and connecting our community with the people who grow and produce our food."

Celebrating Local Food, Farmers, and Community The Farm-to-Table Harvest Party will feature a seasonal meal prepared by local chefs Eric and Sarah Basangan, showcasing ingredients and products from regional farmers and food producers. Guests can enjoy dishes featuring local yak, pork, and tofu, along with fresh bread, dessert, and a selection of Oregon wines. The afternoon will also include fall crafts, yard games, a 50/50 raffle, and videos highlighting local food and agriculture. Tickets are $50 and include a farm-to-table meal and your choice of a four-wine tasting flight or one full glass of wine. The event is hosted at The Tasting Room with support from Volcanic Winery, The Aerie Retreat, and other community partners. In the days leading up to the Harvest Party, The Tasting Room and Volcanic Winery are teaming up to support Klamath Grown. On Thursday and Friday, October 22–23, all proceeds from Volcanic wine purchased by the glass or bottle at The Tasting Room will be donated to Klamath Grown's Fall Harvest Fundraiser.

The Farmers Market Season Ends, but Local Food Doesn't! While Saturday marks the final outdoor Klamath Falls Farmers Market of the season, Klamath Grown's Online Market continues connecting customers with more than 30 local farmers, ranchers, and food makers year-round. Through its Online Market, food aggregation, transportation, and community partnerships, Klamath Grown helps local producers reach customers while expanding access to fresh, locally produced food. Klamath Grown accepts Farm Direct Dollars and supports food access for those in need through its Community Food Fund. Funds raised through the Fall Harvest campaign will help sustain this work, including essential operating costs such as market space, utilities, bookkeeping, and weekly market operations.

More Ways to Support Local Food Klamath Grown welcomes individuals and businesses interested in becoming event sponsors, ongoing organizational sponsors, or monthly donors. Community members can also support the organization by volunteering. Volunteers are especially welcome on Wednesdays to help pack Online Market orders and prepare local food for customer pickup and delivery. The organization is also grateful to Scanlan Financial Group for supporting its monthly giving campaign through matching contributions. "Whether you purchase a ticket, become a monthly donor, sponsor our work, shop the Online Market, or give a few hours of your time, you're helping create a stronger future for local food in the Klamath Basin. Thank you!” said Rose Clarke, Executive Director
