The YMCA of Klamath Falls is inviting the whole community to celebrate a remarkable milestone this summer as the YMCA movement marks 175 years of strengthening communities across the country.

On Friday, August 7, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM, the YMCA of Klamath Falls will host its 175th Anniversary Celebration — a free, family-friendly community event open to everyone. Guests can enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, and birthday cake alongside family activities and the chance to celebrate the impact the Y has had on generations of local families.

As part of the celebration, the YMCA will host a raffle to raise funds for its youth programs and Youth Sports scholarships and financial assistance. Those funds help ensure that every child and family in the Klamath Basin continues to have access to programs that build confidence, encourage healthy living, and strengthen the community, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Local businesses and organizations that would like to support the celebration are invited to donate a raffle basket, gift certificate, merchandise, or other in-kind item; every contribution, large or small, makes a meaningful difference and will be recognized during the event. Raffle donations can be dropped off at the YMCA Fitness and Aquatics Center, 1221 S. Alameda Ave., any time between now and July 24, 2026.

To contribute or learn more, contact Marketing Director Tori Hayman at the YMCA of Klamath Falls at 541-884-4149 ext. 2007.

The community is invited to join the celebration on August 7 as the YMCA marks 175 years of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
