At the Y, we are known for being the leading nonprofit committed to strengthening the community by connecting all people to their potential, purpose, and each other. Every day, we work side-by-side with our partners, members, and community leaders to ensure that everyone — regardless of age, income, or background — can learn, grow, and thrive.
More Than Four Walls
Since our establishment in 1944, the YMCA of Klamath Falls has been dedicated to addressing the community's needs. While many may think of the Y as a place with a swimming pool, treadmills, or a spot for coffee, its true impact extends far beyond its four walls.
The YMCA plays a vital community role and addresses a critical need by providing affordable, high-quality programs that serve a diverse community, including senior citizens, children, teens, and families of all backgrounds and income levels. Offerings like preschool education, childcare, aquatics, fitness, and youth sports promote wellness, education, and community engagement.
The 2024 Campaign
Under the direction of the YMCA Board President and Campaign Chairman Jeffrey Linders, owner of JM Solutions, the YMCA of Klamath Falls launched its impactful annual community campaign on June 6th.
The campaign aims to raise funds to support its mission to provide scholarships to individuals and families. This year our goal is $65,000, and the campaign plays a crucial role in ensuring that everyone in the Klamath Basin benefits from vital Y programs regardless of their financial situation.
How to Get Involved
Make a donation directly to the campaign — contributions of any size make a difference. Or stop in and ask about our scholarship program. The Y serves approximately 5,000 citizens of all ages across Klamath County, and nearly 1,000 of them receive financial scholarships to participate.
Contributions are always welcome and can be sent to the YMCA of Klamath Falls at 1221 S. Alameda Avenue, Klamath Falls, OR 97603.
