Outdoor School Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Klamath Outdoor Science School (KOSS) is celebrating its 20th anniversary of providing outdoor education to youth in the Klamath Basin and beyond! To commemorate this special time, KOSS is hosting a 20th anniversary celebration open to the public on June 14, 2025. This party will include guided walks and camp tours, snacks, dinner, a raffle, and a campfire.

The 20th Anniversary Celebration will be held at the KOSS camp across from Kimball State Park, near Fort Klamath from 3:30 to 7:30 on Saturday, June 14th, with dinner at 5:30. Everyone is invited! Dinner is $15 per person. Children under 10 eat free. Please RSVP by visiting www.klamathoutdoorschool.org.

Visiting from far away? You and your family can camp in the KOSS yurts! $35/person, (ages 3-11 free with adult.) This includes a simple breakfast.

The mission of KOSS is “to inspire a deep appreciation for natural resources, community, and the arts through hands-on, outdoor education.” Over the years, KOSS has seen thousands of students at our Outdoor School, summer camp, and field trip programs. On our 20th anniversary, we’d like to know if we’ve been accomplishing our mission. If you attended a program with Klamath Outdoor Science School, we want to hear from you! What are you doing now? Do you have memories of camp you’d like to share? What did our camp look like when you visited? (It has changed a LOT over the years!) If you or someone you know would like to comment, please visit the KOSS website listed above to fill out the ‘Where Are You Now?’ form. Summer camp information is also available on that site.
