The Klamath Outdoor Science School is rolling out its first-ever Survival Skills Summer Camp, and registration is open now.
Built for kids ages 10 to 13, the camp runs July 27–30 at the KOSS facilities and packs four days with hands-on outdoor skills: fire building, shelter building, water filtration, pathfinding and compass work, and basic first aid. It's the kind of place-based, get-your-hands-dirty learning KOSS is known for, serving more than 1,500 local students every year.
Camp is $400 per camper, and scholarships are available so that cost is never the reason a child misses out.
Register or learn more at klamathoutdoorschool.org, see KOSS's Klamath Living page, or find the dates on our community events calendar.
