Betty Meyers knows home inspections. When she is not busy inspecting homes for termites & dry rot you might find her teaching a clogging class, walking with her dogs enjoying the view of the river, and admiring baby eagles nesting in the nearby trees where she lives in Chiloquin, Oregon.
Her company Cascade Home Inspections provides whole house and pest & dry rot inspections in and around Klamath County. She also provides water sampling for well water testing. Betty has been a licensed home inspector for 5 years, after working 45 years as a maintenance technician, thinking a career change to a Home Inspector would be easier on her body. “Ha! Wrong, it's just as hard on me,” says Betty.
Betty’s business philosophy is to provide a competent home inspection for a reasonable price. Betty always strives to treat others the way she wants to be treated. She enjoys helping people make informed decisions on the condition of the property they are considering purchasing.

Betty’s approach is that Inspecting a home is like solving a mystery, you look for what the house is hiding, but you can't be destructive in your investigation. She is always finding interesting things hiding in plain sight.
Betty has lived in the woods north of Chiloquin for 36 years. Living in a home that she and her husband (and then her by herself) built from their own trees, with chainsaws as there was no electricity for 3 years at their humble homestead. Betty loves her dogs and always enjoys walking with them to the river so they can swim, and explore and she can see an eagle's nest and baby eagles.
Betty was an EMT on Chiloquin Ambulance and served on the Board of Directors for several years. She served for 6 years as a member of the board for her local road district. Betty is a journeyman industrial maintenance mechanic and has always enjoyed fixing things. She is an avid clog dancer and instructor of the art. She is also very involved in genealogy (family history).
