Company Overview

Little Llamas Learning Path LLC is a licensed early-childhood education center based in Klamath, Oregon. Established over four years ago, the center provides high-quality childcare and educational services focused on helping children reach the developmental milestones necessary for elementary-school success.

The organization has expanded to include Baby Llamas Child Care LLC, which recently celebrated its first anniversary — creating a comprehensive childcare system that now serves families throughout the Klamath area from infancy through preschool.

Leadership — Jenny MacDonald, Owner & Director

Jenny MacDonald brings over 11 years of in-home childcare experience to Little Llamas Learning Path LLC. As the founder and owner of both Little Llamas and Baby Llamas Child Care LLC, Jenny has developed comprehensive programs focused on early-childhood development.

Her credentials include:

  • Step 8 in MyORO (Oregon Registry Online) — advanced professional development in early-childhood education
  • Current CPR & First-Aid Certification
  • Food Handler's Card
  • Licensed childcare through the Oregon Department of Education's Office of Child Care

That stack of credentials matters because it's the difference between informal home daycare and a structured early-learning program. Little Llamas operates as the latter — licensed, monitored, and held to state standards — while still feeling like a small, personal place where children are known by name.

What Children Get

The program is built around developmental milestones:

  • Language and literacy — early reading readiness, vocabulary, listening skills
  • Math foundations — counting, shapes, patterns, comparison
  • Fine and gross motor skills — through play, art, and outdoor time
  • Social-emotional development — sharing, turn-taking, conflict resolution
  • Independence and self-care — preparing kids for the routines of elementary school

Two Programs, One Family

Baby Llamas serves the youngest children, while Little Llamas takes them through their preschool years. For families who need continuity, that's a meaningful thing — one director, one philosophy, and a smooth transition between programs as your child grows.

If you're a Klamath-area family looking for licensed childcare with deep early-childhood-development expertise behind it, Jenny's program is worth a tour.
