Ensuring that music has a sustainable future in the community — and that our younger musicians have the necessary tools to keep music an active part of their adult lives — are a couple of the driving reasons why local nonprofit Klamath Music does what it does.

Known for its Klamath Music Festival, Showcase Series, and Under Klamath Skies programs, the organization also offers a scholarship program to musically inclined:

  • Class of 2025 high school graduates
  • Klamath County graduates currently enrolled in collegiate or vocational studies
  • Currently enrolled Oregon Tech and Klamath Community College students

How to Apply

Honoring Glenn Justus

The Glenn Justus Memorial Scholarship program is so named to honor the legacy of local musician legend Glenn Justus. Beloved and cherished, Glenn was considered by many to be a key pillar of the local music community.

Inspiration, mentor, peacemaker, and kindly father-figure — Glenn's humble nature and home-spun wisdom helped numerous local musicians recognize their own talent and pursue it with purpose.

The scholarship continues that work: putting practical support behind young Klamath musicians at the moment they need it most.
