Ingredients

  • 4 ripe avocados
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ½ red onion (minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2–4 tablespoons cilantro (minced and optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne (optional)
  • 1 jalapeño pepper (minced, seeds removed, optional)

Steps

  1. Take your avocados, remove pits, and scoop out the insides. Mash the avocados in a mixing bowl. If you like your guacamole chunky, don't over-mash.
  2. Carefully mix in the other ingredients. Salt to taste, and add black pepper to taste.
  3. Enjoy.
